Please identify the time period for these figures. I'm glad to see more French crew, but I'm unsure if this is WW1, WW2 or what.

Was just thinking the same thing, nice pose on the crew man smoking a cigarette. The officer is also really good. ID'ing the time period is rather important considering how little they changed in the years leading up to WW2.
