This kit have been out for ten years or so. Only a new box art photo.
It includes the AFV Club Maxon turret and resin parts for the trailer, the same as you get if you bought AFV Clubs M548 ”gun truck” release.
Not sure why AFV Club/Hobby Fan are marketing this again but perhaps they want to suggets hat it could be used on their new M54? For a Vietnam quad it would need some modification thought.

If they had updated it with post-WWII mods I would agree. For a standard WWII quad you would be better of with the Dragon release. Not sure if that is available other than on the second-hand market thought?

The engine, fuel tank, generator etc. on the Maxon mount was updated post WWII. The AFV Club kit includes details for the WWII type:
