I've just completed a 144th scale CAD model of the BTR-80A and am looking at doing the BTR-82.
From what I have been able to gather, the visible differences are fairly small.
1) The searchlight on the BPPU turret is replaced with the box-like thermal scope.
2) The front of the BPPU turret is similar, but rather tha being flattened off, is rounded.
3) There are a couple of pipes (which I understand pertain to the air conditioning system) that are mounted above and parallel to the exhaust pipes on the hull.
All the other modifications, as I understand it, are essentially internal. I have not been able to find anything that suffests the engine deck is visually any different.
I that it, or is there anything else that I should know about (at least as it would pertain to 144th scale 3D printing!) I would appreciate the help from the experts!
