Greetings everyone,
let me show you one of my recent builds, the Trumpeter 1/35 M1126 Stryker. this was cheap, easy, quick and very enjoyable to build with no setbacks (surprisingly for me).
By this stage it only took me a days worth of work to get the construction done.
If you look closely, you can see that i'm trying to put shading and washes around the edges and grooves. this it the first time i attempted detailing like this.
i started to improve the washing effect by soaking the surface with water, then i put a wash on the crevices and detail.
this effect looks improved now. (M1 Abrams tusk 2 in the background.)
Here is the Stryker call signed "honey badger" sitting beside its comrades, the BTR APC's.
Thanks for taking your time to have a look.

Very nice and clean build. I always thought Strykers are best represented with lots of stowage on, but this looks really good.
Were there any operational Strykers in Desert Tan paint?

I've never seen a real life picture of a stryker with desert tan camo, so this is a bit of a what if inspired by depictions from video games.

Nice looking model. But I'm sure the Honey Badger don't care!
