thank you Mark, for this well-written & detailed examination of yet another Panther kit. Here I was practically begging someone -anyone- to offer a modern Bergepanther kit and it literally RAINS Panther variants. Good news for all, I'm sure. I personally have the Ausf "D" variant covered so this kit by Meng is of passing interest; what will really shake me is the upcoming Jagdpanther variant waiting in the wings. Frank, thanks for the comments. I've got the Meng Bergpanther Ausf. A on pre-order. I expect I'll do a review of it after I receive it. I do have the Takom Bergepanther Aus. D. So, I might do a review of it next.

I would like to add that PE screens aren't very convincing, and better replaced with some aftermarket. Got their Kingtiger in "ready to build" rack, but still haven't figured out what to do with grills.

Darius, I agree with you. I forgot to mention in my review. Aftermarket option will be needed.
