Viva la Republica!

I built this little diorama for the Spanish Civil War campaign, and I’m pleased with how it turned out.

Apparently Spain bought four of the obsolete Schneider CA1 from France. A couple served in the Rift wars in Morocco. All four apparently ended up back in Spain prior to the outbreak of the civil war. The scene depicts some enthusiastic Republicans in the heady early days of the civil war, I think in Madrid.

this was the inspiration…

Cheers

Thanks for the kind words!
I see now that the hand of guy in the cream shirt closest to the front of the tank doesn’t make contact with the tank. I might have to tweak that.
Cheers

Great job, unusual & imaginative. Viva natural light too (teeny quibble it needs some dust & dirt), it’s a beauty well done. (so your figures move around just before the photo’s taken too, I thought it was just my guys)

I love projects like this because it is so out of the ordinary. Very nice to see a dio without a Tiger and a officer pointing.
Very well done as well.
