Hi guys - I am assembling the aftermarket for my next build, the Takom T-55 AMV. I've seen some critical reviews of the wheels on the Takom T-55 with the recommendation to replace them with the MiniArt aftermarket set. I assume Takom used the same wheels on the T-55 AMV, so is it best to replace these with the MiniArt Late set?
Thanks
Mike

Takom wheels are in several parts and when you glued the outer part on the center wheel part you have a gap in the inner wheel (not sure that my poor english help you). I'm in holliday now but i remembers that there's a thread on the russian forum about the problem.
I thinks that the wheel need extra work to fill the gap but it's possible for any modeller to fix it. The raised lines on the outer side is too big so sanding it totally is another work to listed.
Takom T55A/AM/AMV are really nice kits , far better than the Tamiya T55A but they have a few bad parts (multiparts wheels, light cage protections...).
Filler+time is a cheap sollution or a Late wheels set from Miniart is another way.

Stephane recommended 'Miniart', not 'Miniarm'. They are 2 completely different companies.
This is Miniart T-55 wheels set: http://miniart-models.com/products/37058-t-55-t-55a-wheels-set/ - Most people sell them around 10USD to 15USD.
This is Miniarm https://www.scalemates.com/kits/315036-miniarm-b35055-t-55-t-55a-t-55am-road-wheels-set-standard-hub-16pcs-and-reinforced-hub-4pcs - about double the price of the Miniart set.

Thanks for the help guys. I picked up the MiniArt set, which I figured is cheap insurance.
