Now the Sheridan; they're going to surprise us all and do a 1980s Panama vehicle to go with the M561 gamma goat kit.
Nope, Vietnam War version is coming first.

I’ve seen the figures for this kit, and they look great. Red Army, but five original poses, not someone else’s reboxed figure. Well done, Mr T.

Just checking Tamiya's International site and the info for the upcoming Tokyo Big Site model and hobby show at the end of this month (which I'm hoping to finally be able to get to this year) and apart from the M3A1 and Sheridan they talking about a few other things that'll be on show; though some are listed as only tentative (T), including...
Metal gun barrel for Sheridan (T)
M.C.I. cartons for Sheridan
Panther D Special Edition
PzKpfw IV J Special edition
J.G.S.D.F. Type 16 M.C.V. metal gun barrel
SU 85
SU 122
T 34/85
KV 1B 1940 w applique armor
There were no details as to WHAT makes the Panther or IV "special"; or if the SUs, KV and T 34 were new molds. Certainly be good news if they are!

Judging from past special editions they usually add figures and/or after market bits.
The others are probably all reissues of old classic molds-- which could occur to test the market for a new mold? They've followed up reissues at least twice with all new kits.

Pix now on Tamiya International page; one good thing here...Asiatic faces! I can't recall any Russians having been released with Asiatic features before!
