Very nice. Interesting to see something a little different.

Thanks, I knew about the RR family of armored cars, I have the Roden kit in the stash. But I wasn't familiar with the Lanchester til this kit came out. The anniversary of the 'Great War' (if ever there was a misnomer) has given us modelers a plethora of new (non-resin) subjects.

Thanks Dan. The color specified was 'Admiralty Light Gray' and Tamiya XF-23 is an almost exact match according to my research. Tamiya lists it as 'Light Blue. It definitely has a bluish tint to it.

I've had my eye on that kit and it's good to hear that it's well engineered and of good quality (apparently not something that can be said of the RR AC kits). Thanks for sharing your work.
What do you mean we don't have a Plan B?

Very nice job Al. 🍻
And thanks for sharing the info about your use of Tamiya XF-23. Very helpful and a time saver.

I found it to be a fun build. Flash is almost non-existant, you have to look hard for any. Instruction booklet is very nice, but there were a couple of mistakes. In Step 1, Parts B-20 & B-21 are reversed. And in Step 26, Parts B-22 & B-23 are actually A-22 & A-23. Minor errors and easily spotted.

Thanks, Patrick. Glad I could help, that's the great thing about sites like this, the exchange of information.

I was slightly disappointed by the all-plastic wheels, but it turns out alright.

I am quite happy with the plastic wheels actually. I have the Roden RR armored car kit which has PE wire wheels. The spokes are slightly thinner, but flat. Personally, I think the plastic ones look better. Just my opinion of course.

I like it Al, just building one also. Had an issue with the turret as I tried to build it as it says in the instructions by adding sections to the turret ring but the last section wouldn't fit. Took it apart built the turret walls and then added the ring to it. went in easily, can't understand the issue!! I'm drawn to the RAF light earth paint scheme.
Cavalry add style and panache to what would otherwise be just another s**tfight between grunts.

Thanks, Max. Don't remember having any issues with the turret myself. Just got lucky I guess. Only problem I remember was trying to remove the headlight mounts from the sprue without destroying them. Definitely got lucky there. Would like to see yours when it's done.

Thanks, John. It's a nice kit, if a little pricey. Still cheaper than most resin alternatives, and much easier to build.
