Hi all
I've just started the M36 Jackson from Academy and I'm attempting to build the early version without the hull mg.
The problem I have is that the kit Instructions are a tad vague as to which rear panel I should use for this version.The parts from sprue O? or those from sprue C which look as though they are from their M10 kit?
Any info that could clarify this or links to online pics would be greatly appreciated.

When you say "early," just how early do you want to go? The hull MG (which you are omitting)is a very late feature not used in WWII or even Korea, as far as I can tell.

If you are looking to build a prototype or very early M36, use the M10 plate and M10 gun crutch on the rear end.

If you want to build the most common version used in WWII, use the parts that make it a gasser (the M4A3-style rear lower hull and engine deck) and the rear hull plate that has the mounting points for the gun travel lock. This variant will give you the most options for markings, etc.
