I read somewhere, years ago, that starting in 43(?) the Wehrmacht started issuing a herringbone uniform for southern climes. I seem to remember the color was "reed green". Any clues as to what that shade would be? And was the pattern of the uniforn the same as the wool ones?

Vallejo German Uniform Green looks a lot like some of the images on Biggles' Google link; it's more green than Field Gray and should work if you're portraying said uniforms; on the other hand uniform colors often varied depending on mix or quality of dyes and/or materials.

The age old question. What is the "correct" color for German uniforms. As with the wool versions, the reed green version could be found in a plethora of shades. No "true" color.

Yeah, yeah, yeah..... What is a close match to start off with? And. as I asked initially are they the same pattern as the wool?
