Trying to do an MP figure for May /June 45 in Mannheim. What unit was occupying there? I know the 44th Inf.captured the place. They were relieved by the 100th Inf. But on VE day 44th was near the Austrian border and 100th was around Ulm, I think. Would it have been 7th Army HQ? Woulf 100th's MPs have been covering an area 70 miles from their AO?
