Greetings all...

Need a little advice please..

Would it be possible to use the 1/35 Tamiya Willys Jeep as a vehicle in Russian service as under the Lend/Lease agreement?

I know Russia was given a few of the Jeeps , but I cant find any references for a Willys with Red stars or markings anywhere. Particularly a Willys.

Could I just put any old markings on it and leave it at that or what?

Any help would be appreciated.

Oh yes, problem is going to be finding refs. for the markings though. I don't know the exact number of jeeps sent as lend-lease, but it was considerable...Jim

hiya dont know about the willy's but tamiya also has a russian jeep with a crew maybe you can use that one?

hi russia got jeeps from the very first batch to the last in fords , as to markings , they left the original us markings on but deleted the a from usa , us they told the soldiers stood for union of socialists as they did not want to admit any help from other countries cheers ian
