Is this a rehash of the Italeri from back in the day?

Or is it a Studebaker?

It's a post WW-2 Zil based one. Zil-157 did not start production till 1958. Only Steady - Breaker one I've seen is the ICM one.

It's BM-13NN on ZIS-151 chassis (was in production since 1949)

The easiest way to identify a Studebaker is by the shape of the front fender:

Horizontal straightplate, a tight 90 degree corner and then straight down.

The GMC 2½-ton has a fender with a few different radiuses:



and the ZiS/ZiL-151 has a single, large radius, curve


Someone else will have to show the detail differences between the ZiL-151 and ZiL-157. I have read that the grills are different but I have not found a clear image which explains it so that I can see it. The 157 also had single rear wheels but wheels can be swapped so that is not really a safe identifier.

The fronts of these two are slightly different but I wouldn't be able to spot the difference if one drove past me on the road.

I think that the chasis is ZIS-151

ZiS-121: Tractor-trailer version.

151 is the regular truck with load bed, 121 has a fifth wheel instead.

I got lost for a while in all those chassis and trucks all over the place so I thought that it was actually the tractor version that you were building
I was honest when I wrote "Thank you"
I don't know if the chassis for the launcher had a number of its own ...Well except for BM-13-16 but that is the complete launcher and not the chassis as such ...

One giveway is the wheels : the 151 is fitted with dual rear wheels whereas the 157 has bigger, single rear wheels with CTIS (Central Tyre Inflation System).
