Now when meng will release a Husky tsv ( finally ) i have a question, instead of the weapon that is included in the kit, would it be possible to add a 50 cal machinegun from accurate armour land rover sets in the turret weapon ? I have search for photos on internet but not found any yet so i wounder if it's possible ?

There are indeed more pics with L7A2 fitted on the turret but I would say yes.

Pretty much anything that can move on 4 tires, or 2 tracks, and armor thicker than your car door...can use a .50 cal. Just look at everything armor, since WW2, foreign or domestic, friend or foe, and you'll find at some point in time, some oddball unit ended up with at least one .50 cal mounted and plinking their version of bad guys!!

I was working in the DE&S Light Weapons team when Husky came in. We looked after the mounts too. There was a Heavy Weapons adaption for the HMG on Husky in response to user requests. Despite being bought as a cargo vehicle (TSV) it was much preferred to the Panther CLV for other roles such as convoy escort. Hence the need for heavier firepower.

As noted above, some slight differences in the cupola. The standardised Istec buffered Universal Gun Mount which fitted to the cupola pintle was capable of taking the GPMG, HMG or GMG. To my knowledge, no Husky ever mounted the GMG.
