I noted with interest that Ark Models is making a T-14 in resin in 1/48th scale, but then noticed something interesting on the box art.
First, of course, the destroyed M1A2. Has the US been to war with Russia lately? Seems a bit premature.
Also where is that? It looks a bit like the Southwest US, doesn't it?
Box art just seems really peculiar to me. I know that treadheads like to build kits of badass tanks and nothing says badass like a wrecked enemy, but still, lol.

According to the boxart the scale is 1/35 and also "Cooperated with Alex Koshavsew and Trumpeter".
EDIT: They have indeed a 1/48 resin kit in the catalouge. So what's different about the 1/35 kit compared to Trumpeter?

"Alternative facts;" the landscape can also be found in the Middle East - the M1 hasn't been shot up, but is actually pursuing the Russkie into a river, and that explosion is behind the M1 and was some kind of ordnance dropped by that Tornado. There, all better now.

Well, it does say 'Top Secret', so presumably whatever incident it depicts wasn't widely publicised - the only record of it is on a model kit box.
EDIT: Maybe the same campaign as this one?
