Hi guys,

I have just received ICM's Sd Kfz 251/1 Ausf. A, and I realised ICM tells us to paint the interior in white.

I thought the interior of these vehicles was also Panzer Gray, and I've seen some models painted this way.

Was the interior really white/cremeweiss? It's for a vehicle in France 1940.

Ricardo- anything visible to enemy air was painted in the same color as the exterior when it came out of the factory. The drivers compartment came from the factory in the off white (cremeweiss)color. Hope this helps.

it helps, thanks. I guess I'll paint the drivers compartment in Cremeweiss and the area behind it in Panzer gray.

Something else to consider is that the crew may have repainted the interior.
