these machines were in the service of the Soviet Army
and participated in Operation "Danube" in 1968

Richard,

It did indeed enter service, albeit in rather small numbers.

It even deployed in the invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968. A bit of Googling around might help and in the meantime this earlier thread on this site might also help:

So does it come in two colors or just for show?
Rough looking tank, I guess would of busted those Tigers pretty good.
