Right where do i start,at the moment i have two model king tigers one from tamiya one from dragon.The tamiya tiger is a prodution turret which i will apply zimmerit.The dragon has a porsche turret .i want to use the decals from the tamiya kit its the one with the charging knight to go on the dragon kit.did the charging knight appear on the porche turret without zimmerit.i ask this as i want to do the camo of red brown over dark yellow as it looks simple to do as am at the learning stage of my modelling.also what battalion was the charging knight belong too as i could look up some info on the web.sorry to go on but need help on this please let me know many many thanks from karl .

Well you are out of luck for the charging knight for the Porsche KT ..."Most "of these KT went to the 503 Schwere HeeresPanzer Abteilung.. All but the three prototype vehicles had zimmerit added to them starting with Fgst.Nr.280001. You really shouldn't use those charging knight decals anyway as they are both facing the same way instead of charging forward on both sides of the turret ...so even with the Production turret you'd have to find aftermarket decals to do that tank.

Unless you are building the tank for a contest or you just have to have it historically correct, you could just build it the way you want and be happy with how it looks. That should be the reason we model anyway, to please ourselves.
