I want to pair a BTR, with the T-55 AM2B I built. The T-55 is painted as it appeared in Czechoslovakia. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to which BTR to use? TIA

Hi Matt;
So what time frame or era are you talking about 70s, 80s, !! The BTR-70 or 80 would be correct. You could even use A BTR-60 ! If I had to pick just one, it would be the BTR-70 !
CHEERS; MIKE.

I apologize. I don't know what era the AM2B was present. This is my first foray, in Russian/Eastern Bloc armor.

Hi Matt;
I Believe the Vehicle would be for the 90s, and in reality the time frame could be earlier or even later as it would more likely have served for longer periods of service and mite still in some reserve units ! I have the same vehicle in my stash, but have not started it as of yet.

Cheers,
The Czechoslovakian Peoples Army never used a BTR 70 or 80. They had the OT-64 instead, which was a completely different vehicle. The last BTR used by the CSLA was the 60PB and PU12.
A pairing of BTR-80 and T-55 is possible in the Hungarian Army. DDR army had the same tank and BTR-70.
