A quick question for you guys ,

did 88mm KwK 43L/71 gun and 88mm KwK 43/2 L/71 gun(very early KT porsche and elefant) use the same muzzle brake?

I know some late tiger 1's have a smaller one but never heard anything about King tiger muzzle brake

Thanks,
Orkun

Well if you have the new book on building the Tiger Tank , they do have drawings of 2 different muzzle brakes so there seems to be an early and a late type. So there might be a difference between the two you want to compare.

question answered

no, they did not use the same brake, only very early porsche ones used the bigger muzzle brake all other used the lighter and smaller one...
It is on the MMIR Tiger book page #49 at the bottom...

Thanks,
Orkun
