Hi all!
I just finished the Trumpeter MAZ-537G complete with Voyager PE. I used a mixture of AK, MIG, and Abteilung washes and pigments. The windshield wiper effect was tried on a whim, and it actually seemed to turn out ok. Let me know your thoughts. This is a big kit when it sits on a shelf...

Thanks, it was definitely a fun build. It's hard to determine how much weathering is too much...and by then it is too late!

Great job! That sure is a bigun. What are you planning on putting on the back?

Very nice job on this huge beast!
If you allow me a constructive comment, I understand that all modern vehicles, apart from windshield wipers, have water injectors to clean it. If so, the water would fall leaving marks on the dust of the rest of the windshield...

Right now I have a T-80UD that was my first foray back into modeling after 15 years (finished in May of '16). I think that'll change because that model was ok, but nothing spectacular.
Thanks for the input on the wipers, never occurred to me (even though I drive every day...). Do you happen to know if they spray down from the top or vice versa? Thanks!

showing the front end:

There doesn't appear to be anything except the viper axles coming out through the front edge of the roof.
There is a small knob shaped object in the centre below the windscreens. Can't see what it is though.
In this image there are two small objects, one in front of each windscreen ...

I think the wiper effect you have achieved is nothing short of excellent and once achieved I would leave well enough alone.
I could go on about the mechanical failings (internal) of this kit versus the real thing however for your part you have done an outstanding job on the model and you should be commended.
Looks to be an award winner at any competition! I would give some thought to just what equally outstanding model you wish to display on that trailer.
