Hey guys, back in August I submitted a proposal for a combat engineer campaign. I haven't heard anything yet; but I was kinda wanting to see if anyone else would be interested.

There are some pretty cool kits out there like the RFM M1 assault breaching vehicle, the Stryker ESV, the Takom M9 ACE, Dragon's M48 AVLB. Heck, even an M4 Sherman with a Rome plow attached.

I don't really have a timeline in mind just yet. I was just thinking it would be something different we could do. If I'm wrong and no one wants to do it, then so be it.

So, what do you think?

Yes. Definitely interested. Life has a tendency of getting in the way though ......

I'm planning on doing the Legend Israeli Puma for the Resin 2 GB, but I could change my mind, or I have a Dragon M4A4 and Legend Flail combo or an Academy M113 Fitter


Would a recovery vehicle like a Bergehetzer, M88A1, Bergepanther, etc fit your guidelines?

Could do a German 251 Engineering halftrack, U.S. dump truck, 2-1/2 ton truck conversion with an air compressor, Dragon Wagon, or a DR-9 bulldozer. I'm sure there are other possibilities in the stash. Would a Bailey bridge work?

Those all sound like suitable projects.

I was thinking maybe a start date of January 1 and maybe going til December 31st; but I'm just spit-ballin' here.

I'm definitely open to suggestions and advice if there are any experienced campaign leaders out there.

Let's see what kind of interest there is out there.

Over the weekend SprueBrothers was offering 20% off on all Takom stuff. I picked up their M9 ACE. I’ve also got a Stryker Engineer Squad Vehicle and the RFM M1 assault breacher vehicle.

I've got a Bergepanther Ausf A and D crying to be built. A January start date would work for me.
