The good news is that the kit looks good and that it even has options not mentioned in the kit directions, such as a choice of headgear. The bad news is that I cannot find more detailed information on the kit and what kind of equipment they have.

The equipment sprue is the same one included in all Masterbox's Vietnam kits - rucks, frames, mag pouches, battle dressing pouches, headgear, etc.

I reviewed their Jungle Patrol set (3595), which contains the same gear sprue. Here is a pic so you can see what it contains.

Invest in some research books, such as the Osprey series. The elite volume # 216 covers Vietnam War US and Allied equipment. This is what we all do. Wayne

The book Osprey MAA 205 US Army Combat equipments 1910-1988 explains everything on the pictured sprue. Wish the sprue was available as a US equipment set.
Most of the stuff I remember from my time in the army in the 1980-90s. That gear took a long time to finally get out of the system.
