I have seen pic's of a sFH 18 150mm field gun and it looks like the 150mm gun and the Pak 43/41(towed) share the same carriage

Can anyone tell me if they do share the same carriage

The Pak 43/41 was the 88 gun barrel with miscellaneous parts making up its carriage. The wheels were from the sFH 18 gun carriage. The carriage and trails were from the leFH 18 105mm. All the parts from existing equipment only served to make the gun way too heavy ( around two tons!). Makes you wonder why they didn't use the 75mm L70 from the Panther-it would have been a lot lighter.
