Hello All,

Does anyone have specifics on what version Hobbyboss T-35 kit# 83841 represents?

Were they used in battle, etc.

Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean by "version". Only 61 T-35s were built and all were simply labelled T-35. Given the length of time they were built, numerous changes were made over the production run. The majority of the T-35 were used in combat.

The kit you are referring to has all the early features - standard turrets, "clothesline" antenna, single large turret hatch, full length side skirts, original sponson flat sided boxes, open style idlers, etc. A simple comparison of the all the boxarts should give you a good idea as to what features are included in each kit.

and the majority of the losses, 90%, was due to mechanical failures, abandoned by the crew or simply run out of fuel ...

Not sure if this is the same version as HB 83841 ...

83841 is the "early" tank with the single rectangular roof hatch in a cylindrical turret.

Almost all were driven but most were abandoned without combat or direct contact with the enemy.
