Hello everybody,
This is the construction of the Modelcollect MZKT Iskander-K Cruise Missile Truck. This model has nice details and Moving parts. however, it is a bit challenging to build due to the small instruction errors on the moving parts.
This part was a challange to put together.
AS you can see, the fit is not perfect.
Next comes this part...
This part is a real challenge because they don't tell you exactly where to put the poles.
Then i realised it deeded a plastic part in the middle to stop it from sliding to one side, but it was too late because i had already glued the body together.
The start of the primer.
Now its starting to take shape.
It is starting to look beautiful.
I took the liberty of replacing the plastic hydraulics with metal ones, because the plastic parts broke.
And it can move.
Later the poles at the side of the raiser were removed because it didn't fit well while moving it up and down.
Brothers in arms
This will be All i will post today.
Tomorrow i will post the rest of the pictures.
Thank you for taking the time to see my project.

Continuing on from yesterdays post...
here i painted the camouflage. sorry i didn't show the masking, but i just got on with the painting.
Here is where i added an acrylic wash and weathering. i used a camo shade to bring out all the details, then i used an earth and sand wash with pigment for the dirtying effect.
this is the first picture once completed.
The kit even includes a cruise missile.
Thank you for taking the time to see my project.

Well Hyder, looks like ModelCollect got their ideas for instructions from the Dragon company when it came to accuracy and clarity. Thanks for sharing those build images with us as they tell a lot about the kit(s). I have an Iskander 'M' waiting for my attention and we'll see how Zvezda handles their MZKT truck and its components when I get around to it.
You've done a great job on the 'K' version and I also like the camo with the white. I have seen an image of one and it appears to have some white but it seemed to be a three colour and the picture quality was not that great so the light colour might have been actually a sand or buff. Keep up the fine work and hope to see more in the future.
Cheers,
--Jan

Thank you everybody for all your kind comments.
I have a lot more work to post on this site, especially more Modelcollect builds i've completed last summer.
