Small one, idea I've been kicking around for few years.
The standing figure I did for some past campaign.
The dead figure in Soviet NBC gear is new.
He will get buried in more rubble once find best spot.

Thanks David. Got to find a color for that funky Russian Lime Green that use on their NBC Suits.
On a differnt note - I'll be in Aberdeen in late June next year with my boys, requisite father son trip to see the homeland... Any suggestions ?

Thanks John. Exactly the look I was going for. Cursing Fate (and everything else).
I wanted him to have that contorted, arch back, arms throw out look you see in ppl who had the bad luck to be exposed to Chemical Weps...

I was reminded of your Russian today when looking at German war memorials; there is a statue of a shrouded dead soldier with a fist poking out in a final act of defiance.
Your finished work will be something to see; I look forward to it. I wonder if the other figure will speak to me as eloquently as the dead Russian?

The dead soldier is deff. the focal point. Tried to pop him up some w/ few bright colors in the rubble.
Happy w/ the way the base looks but...
Unfortunately, the Lime Green NBC Suit color shifted when I went to oils. I'm going to try a Tinted Glaze to get him back or its a repaint...

Yes ! Glazing to the rescue again ! Color back to correct shade.
Glaze w/ about 1/3 color. About 4-5 light coats to change it but leave some of the base shade.
Craft store Glazing - 2 OZ. - 75˘. Don't paint without it...
