They look identical, at least externally, but are they different? I ask because I thought about using a T-55 barrel on a Type 69-II Takom kit.

The type 69 used a couple different barrels. They had a smooth bore 100mm that was a little longer than the Russian gun and they used a rifled one too that was roughly the same length.
