Hi all...
I have some stuff to paint and the instructions indicate "Burnt Iron." The only paint I can find with that name is Testor's Metalizer.
So, out of curious, what color exactly is burnt iron? I think I have an idea, and if so I can probably mix something up that's close enough to suit me, but any clarification would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.

I use the model masters burnt iron metalizer. It says to use with airbrush only but I have been using it with a soft brush for years. It works just fine for doing small parts.

Thanks animal.
Maybe I'll have to try brushing it on. Wasn't too sure how it'd work, but since it's mainly for small parts, I'll give it a go.

Metalizer's burnt iron color is a very dark bronze/copper color.
