I'm presenting one of the latest releses from Evolution miniatures that I bought recently-Syrian fighters with SPG-9M Spear (Копие), a recoiless 73mm gun with rocket projectiles, the big brother of the more famous RPG-7.
We have the standart Evolution miniatures box, slightly larger than the usual, because of the inclusion of the gun. Nice boxart from Roman Tarasov.
All parts are packed in separate zip bags, clenaly casted in grey resin with no distortions.
The first fighter is assisting in loading the gun, with the PG-9 projectile in the hands. Details like face, beard, clothes and equipment are beautifully sculpted.
Second guy is the gun operator, aiming at the target. He is shown with noise headphones and beaseball cap. Nice details again.
Both fighters are supplied with one AKM-74 rifle.
And at the end the SPG-9, casted in four separate blocks-the tube, tripod, gunsight, rocket projectile and some levers and small details. The front end have to be drilled after removing from the casting block, however.
Assembly instruction is provided also.
It's very nice set of figures with a lot of possibilities for diorama
Regards,
Venelin

This is a must for me. I fired all manner of recoilless rifles in the Q Course, but it wasn't until Afghanistan that I got to fire this one - the most badass of then all. We trained two of the BANAs before going downrange. The overpressure on this thing is so tremendous we were only allowed to fire it three times per day.

These figures look amazing I hope you do build log on them as I would like to get some in the near future. My main problem is painting that style of camouflage on the trousers...does anyone know of any how to guides on the net or youtube perhaps?

You'd be in luck. It's simply the US Woodland pattern, found in many tutorials online, many of which are right here on this site.

Yes, it's Woodland camo, but maybe I will make one of them in different camo. I'm not decided yet

This looks like a very useful set but I wish each figure's heads were different and I also don't see too many pictures of middle-eastern fighters with full beards. Overgrown chin straps or neckbeards seem more common out there.

Are there any Hornet or Live Resin head offerings with a neck beard? I guess this is a job for Milliput applied to a bare Hornet head? Seems doable. Looking for toothpicks...
