Anyone know which 1/35 set contains one? (two would be even better)
I'm sure I've seen one but I've looked through all of my paratrooper figure sets and cannot seem to find one.

IIRC there's an M1A1 Carbine in the Dragon Allied weapons set (3815) not sure if has the folding stock though.

Check the Tamiya US weapons set, I think there's one in there.

The M1A1 is the folding stock derivative of the M1 Carbine.
The Dragon set mentioned above very definitely has it, be aware the stock is shown as folded. A wire stock could be formed, but would require work to get it right, especially with the little leather cheek piece in the middle of it.

Thanks everyone for the responses. It seems that Dragon Airborne set is one of the few I don't own, and yet when I looked at it online I kept seeing the guy out front with the Thompson and totally glossing over the dude behind him. It comes with two carbines, one with stock extended and one optional. The wire stocks are extremely thick.
I do own two of the Tamiya sets, and had pretty much resigned myself to doing some surgery and cutting apart the carbines, adding a fore grip from the flame thrower, and adding the wire stock. It shouldn't be as hard as converting 1/48 scale MP40's into grease guns was - that was a test of my patience.
Still, if anyone wants to help me retain what little sanity I still possess and has the set in question, I'd be happy to trade for the two carbines. (And possibly the kneeling figure as well)
