Ola, fellow modellers,
Can anyone of you tell me which color you use for the IDF vehicles.
I always use Humbroll, so if you can give me a number I'm very happy
Thanks in advance, DW.

Don't know what color it is in Humbrol, but Testor;'s Model Master Armor Sand looks good.

I use Testor's Model Master Israeli Armor Sand/Gray #2138.
A good web site for IDF modeling is

The Question of painting IDF vehicles is a fairly regular one . The honest truth is depending on what light the picture is taken in you can get multiple shades seen on the same vehicle. one of the Latrun curators reccomends Humbrol 72 for 73 era and Humbrol 84 fo post 80s. I personally like Tamiya khaki for a base for modern and model master Armour sand as a base for 67 -73 period. I highly reccomend choosing one photo and matching its shading.
