Good news for US Army fans in Germany. 41st FA BDE has been reactivted yesterday in Grafenwöhr Training Area. I wonder whats the primary weapons system? M270 A1 MLRS or M142 HIMARS. We will also get SHORAD units ( Avenger?) redeployed at Katterbach Airfield.

According to the article, it will be an MLRS BDE again.

"...subordinate units yet to arrive - two Multiple Launch Rocket System battalions, a maintenance battalion and a signal company..."

I guess it will be M270A1 with A/C system and loop antenna. So which kit of the MLRS is better, Trumpeter or Dragon? I noticed that Trumpeter kits have been discounted from 90 Euros to 48 Euros. On the other hand, recently HIMARS and Stryker Dragoon have been presented to the members of the Vienna Document.

The Trumpeter M270A1 is much better than Dragon's. They don't even compare. Dragon's is 1990s molding and details.

Just got word that M142 are stored in a facility in Germany. So there is a good chance to see them 41th FA. Hope the other batallion will get M109 A7.
