Hi guys,
Been a while.
Got the Hobby Boss Fav and though the instructions need help ,not a bad kit.Ordered a second one to add armor and no roof.Master Box "Some where in Asia " were used.Hope you approve Robert.
Base is foam, mountain is a mold rubber cast, rocks are mold, chopped up sidewalk pieces and kitty litter.
Tom

Assuming I'm the Robert you're referring to, yes, I dig it!
And as for what they're digging up, these photos may help. You might recognize a dude or two from the set.
Very well done.

Top notch results all around! The base, figures, vehicles, colors,,, everything blends beautifully. You can really get a sense of what's going on. Another winner, Tom!

Looks very nice. Good job on the FAVs. I have one and plan on converting it into the actual vehicle used by the US Navy SEALS in Operation Desert Storm.

Nice diorama overall. I really like how you got that guy in the foreground positioned so he actually looks like he is pulling security.
Great job.
Cheers,
James

Tom,
Great job once again. I do see the rockets now. I wasn't sure what that was before. Your scene is eerily accurate.
In Afghanistan I had a standard list of questions:
Where are they? Whose are they? What does it consist of? How do you know they are there? Have you seen them yourself? How long have they been there? Are they being watched? And so forth.
So invariably the guy would say he'd never been to the site before, but could take us to it. In the middle of nowhere, with no discernible marker that I could see, he'd say "Dig here," and clunk, the shovel would hit the box on the first attempt.
Iraq was a different story but same results.
Awesome job!
