Hi,
I thought of having a collection of firearms in 1:9. As there are not many kits available I decided to scratch build the first item - German Schmeisser MP-41
Here are the masters:
Resin copies:
Primer colours:
Oil blends and gunmetal pigment:
I made the stripe stiff so later I can hang it on motorcycle handlebars.
If anyone is interested I can sell resin copies. Just contact me on [email protected]

This is a very unique idea ! Well executed with a great paint job.

Hi ivanhoe6,
Thank you for your kind words, I dont't think I would sell many of them but I already work on next one The idea is to make it as close as possible to the original so the model could even be displayed as unassembled weapon.

The Real McCoy could not look any better!
Have you considered going into the 1/9th scale weapons aftermarket business? If not, someone needs to convince you to do so based on this effort.
Thanks for posting and sharing.

Hi 5thMech,
Although I don't think I'd ever make my living on this - I do plan to sell my 1:9 weapon sets. All of them are going to be 'stripable'
I've already drawn a simple instruction and soon will post in Buy, Sell or Trade forum.
P.S. Next ones are STEN MkII and Schmeisser MP-28.
