Does anyone know if you can strip Mr. Surfacer off of a plastic model?

91% iso alcohol can work. Also VMS clean slate will work

A good soak in brake fluid should work, with little risk of damage. I usually let it soak for about 4-5 hours, then using a soft toothbrush, I scrub the model lightly under gently running water.

VMS Clean Slate says that it will strip acrylics. I will probably go, with the alcohol.

That seems reasonable, but I would prefer not having to dispose of that toxic a chemical.

I’ve removed small quantities with a cotton bud dunked in Gunze thinner (the standard stuff, not levelling). Levelling may work but I save that for spraying.
