Hey all !
I just was assembling my Semovente ATL18 tracks and eventhough its two separate bags, they are drilled from the same side ? Is that a mix up from them?
Don't know the Semovente well enough to know

Like you I am pretty ignorant of the Sevomente but I do know that Fruil often gives you both sides identical and one side will have the pin out and one side the pin in.

Right - so the right side will be "pin out" - not really happy with that. I ordered another set and have asked my vendor.
Is that something I have to take up with Friul directly?

When I built mine I used the Model Victoria tracks.
They are snap together resin.

In my experience Friuls come in two packs whether sided or not.
And don't waste your time trying to contact them . . . they never respond.

I also used Model Victoria tracks on mine but have built several sets of Friuls where the links for each side were identical. My solution was to cap the open holes with punched styrene discs attached with cyanoacrylate but a quicker alternative is just to use gel CA to fill the open hole (the gel is less prone to capillary action).

To my eyes it looks like small holes for the pins on the outside of the track.

Thanks guys --- those resin tracks look nice. How much clean up? Easy assembly and disassembly to adjust after painting?
So with the Fruils, just keeping the right side pin out and cutting totally flush might be ok?

Cut the pins flush.
If you really want to spend some work on it you could cut the pins slightly shorter than flush and file the ends of the pin/wire to make the pins recessed
View from the inside outwards on the front end
One side has the recesses visible on the inside, the other has smooth castings

Wow - interesting and I see how I could make it work. I was just able to successfully transplant the RB barrel cleanly to the Tamiya piece so I'm pleased with that
I did order a couple of their resin tracks. To those who have used them, are they pretty easy to assemble? Snap fit?

This is mine, I do not have a good close up of the resin snap together tracks. They went together easily.

Awesome - model & tracks look great & I can find use in future for the friuls in a North Africa wreck dio.
I see they also make M series models as well - are they all resin I assume?

Are the resin track/snap connections sturdy enough to feed through with the top hull attached?

On subject, anyone know about the pe circular emblem that goes on the front right of the semovente? Its pe and the decal version is silver looking.
I dont see it in any photos and not sure if it would be base color?
