Too bad the kit has it's issues as described above.
BTW, although the interior features the four fuel tanks and holding frame, the TC turret has no interior at all, no flame gun or M73 breaches, vision blocks, nada...... Since the cargo hatch can be left open, as well as the ramp and separate ramp troop door, seems that another potential opportunity for detail was missed.
While I wait for mine to arrive I've been studying the kit instructions and parts photos and reading comments. Really disappointing. I noticed the trim vane is also missing. While the marking schemes for two versions are museum pieces that lack the trim vane I'm sure the omission was a sloppy carry over from the IDF M113....like the IDF cans.
There is also supposed to be some type of control panel which looks to be missing as well. When looking inside from the rear, It should be in front and to the right of the tanks.
Jim, have you, or Johnny B. (hey, what's up, long time no talk) tried fitting the interior parts/turret into/onto any of the other M113 kits on the market? I've got a bunch of M113s from Tamiya, Academy and AFV Club that I can use as a more detailed donor.
I found some neat pics of a totally tricked out M132 so I'm kinda excited to get started on this one.
