I've ordered the Takom lucky pack and I'd like to give a shout out to the aftermarket manufactures and to Takom or any other kit makers .
Aftermarket guys , seriously weighted tires would be a plus .
Takom , other manufactures , a reasonably priced generator for the crane and a lot of other uses would sell fast . I'm not dissing Plus Models but their fifty - sixty dollar resin generator is a bit much .
Will someone please make a towed generator !!!!!!
Any other thoughts ?

I'd like to second the motion for towed generators - but modern ones! I drove a 5t with a hut on the back and a 30kw generator on a trailer and I'd love to see that trailer with a big ol' generator.

Truer words were never written. No doubt about it.
But
I don't think beggars will be able to afford those resin kits

Unless you want to depict crane in transport position, with seriously deflated tires. Wheels are non load bearing in this crane operation (just like in any other heavy lifting mobile crane). Thats what support feets are for. Otherwise, too easy to tip over

Agreed in the work mode, but there is the transport mode, and even in work mode, I don't want no stinkin' vinyl tires.

Unfortunately no (but I'm working on it ) All I know is that the generator used was a 12kW,25 Amp. one on the Sd.Ah 24 trailer...

Plus Models makes a version of this generator trailer in resin but there again I am sure that would cost a pretty penny.
A scratch version would not too hard (or expensive) to knock together out of Evergreen material. The wheels, fenders and leaf springs coming from my spares box. (Those Blitz wheels are not correct for this trailer but I chalked that up to minor artistic license.)
Angel has also built such a generator, his having a complete interior.
