For the Merks, Academy is your best bet. I'd be wary of the Trumpeter Merkava, it is an earlier kit and is probably a poor copy. Actually, I think that besides the Tamiya Merk I and the Trumpeter copy, Academy is the only Merk maker.

If you are talking about the FIST-V by Academy, their M113 FOVs are the best of the three out there (Tamiya, Italeri, Acdemy). If it is the Australian turreted fire support M113, I know AFV Club makes one and it would have to be better than the Tamiya one.
