Should one allow the decal to dry completley after using MicroSet BEFORE you apply MicroSol? There are some areas I want the rivets to show through and I read where the MicroSol is the trick to snug it down real good. Just didnt know if I should let the setting solution dry first before applying the solvent.
Thanks!

I used the microsol/microset system a few weeks ago. All I can say is Im very, very impressed. I used them on my bergetiger with zimmerit and it worked a treat. I sprayed future on the vehicle the 1st evening. Then the next evening I painted on the microset on the decal area. I only let the decal sit in the tepid water for 30 seconds. Lifted it out and coaxed it a little after a minute. I placed the decal on the wet microset and immediately painted on a healthy layer of microsol. I came back after 30 minutes to check and added a little more microsol to the edges .. very carefully. When I checked it the next evening... I was thrilled with the result. I then paint brushed a layer of future over the top of the decals to protect them from weathering. No silvering at all. I will be posting pictures of the bergetiger this weekend! Hope this helps!

Just took some pictures after dull cote. Only pastels left now and its pretty much finished.
Im very happy who the decals turned out. This is the result of the method I used, as described above!
