I need some assistance regarding the Badger Model 200-20 Detail. Siphon feed single action internal mix airbrush.
Badger’s site quotes the Model 200-20 Detail Airbrush as:
”The finest single action internal mix detail airbrush ever. The Model 200-20 is designed with the PPS paint flow adjusting system, enabling recurring accuracy in spray pattern and line control.”
I am looking for an AB that can do fine lines as in the camouflage pattern, sorry, I don’t know the correct name / designation for this camo pattern , as found on Graeme Davidson's Ferdinand (at missing-lynx).
My current ‘Al cheapo’ AB can’t come close. Will the Badger 200-20 fitted with a Fine- nozzle and needle (It ships with a medium set-up) be able to do it.
PS: It is for both 1:72 and 1:35 scale use.

I use the Badger 100 with a 12 cc cup and don't have any problems. The 100 & 200 use the same tips and needles, so it shouldn't be a problem

Hey Savage,
Knowing Graeme personally, I know that pretty much all he uses for about 99% of his painting is a Badger 200 with a fine needle and tip. He does sometimes use a Tamiya HF??? I think its an HF, for special effects and such, but used the 200 almost exclusivly.
Now what he used to do the camo on that Ferdinand, I can't say as I am not sure....I can definalty ask him...or he may see this thread and and reply himself.
I am not really sure what the difference between a normal Badger 200, and this airbrush...other than a fancier handle....it looks the same as the 200 AB that I have...and the same that Graeme has as well, could be that that one in the picture comes with the fine needle and head....I don't know...as they noramlly come with a medium needle and head. Looks a little fancier than other 200s I have seen...but essentially the same AB.
