Unfortunately, that is about how the tracks in the kit sat as well. The tracks are one of the worst parts to the Italeri/Italeri reboxed M109 series kits.

Never knew Matchbox released the kit under their own label.

Love the the box art. M109 'G' - supposedly a German version - showing US Army in Vietnam. Hmmm … The Matchbox tracks must be helium filled too...
