Been tinkering with the Trumpy M1134. Couple questions. Part M13 is a sqiggly pig tail looking chingas. Appears to attach to the rear of the missile tube. Connection for the guide wires? Part M47 , roof . to the right of the TOW launcher. Vent or some type of antenna? The red/yellow (amber) marks on the rear , and amber beacon, are they a European thing? I don't remember seeing them on US based vehicles or ones in Korea. And, last (maybe) , but not least, where does that beacon mount. Most of the photos I've found are from the 2 o clock looking rearward. Looks like the spot is the left rear antenna mount, but is hard to say with all the brickabrack on th top.

Part M13 is a lever that locks the missile into the launcher. You can see it below.

M47 is the cabin roof vent.

The red/yellow plackards are European-specific safety markers. The beackon is also used in Europe and Korea (when I was last there anyways, '99-2000). The light can be attached to a rear antenna mount.

Thanks Gino. Good thing I asked. The instructions look like they show M13 mounting 90 degrees off what it should be, and the handle lines up near perfect with an indentation on the back of the missile tube. As for the vent, there is something that looks like it on the C3 version, more on the center line, with a rail around it. Vent too?

Have a couple more Stryker questions. I read the M1134s M240 was removed when the TOW was going to be used. (Makes sense with the back blast) Photos seem to confirm this but the photos I've seen I can not tell if it is stored inside or if the mount folds down flat on the roof like the wire cutter on the left side of the roof. Of a slighyly related nature, is there any major external difference between the M1127 Recon and the M1131 FSV? Or is it just the radio fit?

They are completely different vehicles with different missions
the M1131 FSV has extra radios in order to call in a fire mission or maybe even call in close air support
Where as the M1127 is just how its described as it is a scout vehicle

Question was do the differ externally? Both appear to have 3 antennae and the LRASS. If I build one will the other be just a clone?
