Hoping someone can help ID this Leopard for me.
I found it online and the caption said Finnish Leopard 2A6. I just wanted to verify that it was definitely a Finnish 2A6 because I don't see the national insignia. Also which Hobby Boss kit would be best to do that particular version? Would the Hobby Boss German 2A6 or the Spanish 2E work? Both kits have different upper turrets so not sure which one would be best for the one in the photo.

Finnish Leos have a little blue and white roundel on the side of the turret:

can be seen in this blog (and a lot of other places):

where it is presented as a Polish tank.
The numbering style/font on the turret looks a lot like this Polish tank:

Hi!
Definitely a polish tank. You can see the polish flag left of the number plate (Reg.nr.). Finnish tanks do also wear the splinter camouflage and since these are ex NL, they do have Netherlands smoke dischargers and early pattern side skirts to name only some prominent differences.

Thanks for all the quick replies.
Which Hobby Boss kit would I need for the Polish version?
Would the Spanish version work? Reason I ask is because I found on at a reasonable cost.

Either the Tamiya Leopard 2A5 or the Hobbyboss Leopard 2A5 would work, with the Tamiya one being better. Revell Germany also makes an 2A5. The Spanish version is too differend- upgraded glacis armor, the longer A6 barrel, etc

Just having a look to the top of the turret and to the front plate of the hull, I see a lot of differences. I don't know if these are given as separate pieces in the kit, or not.

Spanish Leo is based on Leo2A6, also it has many domestic parts which was made by Spanish Defense Industries.
I can suggest Tamiya's 2A5, it has very nice fitting and details.

If there isn't a hurry, Border Models announced the release of a Leopard 2A5/6 kit with options for both configurations of the smoke grenade launchers.

Thanks again for all the replies. Very helpful.
I am in no hurry but I am not familiar with Border Models and don't know the cost compared to Hobby Boss or Tamiya. The Tamiya kits that I have seen are above my means right now as I am on a tight budget. I found a Hobby Boss German Leopard 2A5/A6 fairly inexpensive so I will go with that one. As much as I like the Polish camo, I might just stick to doing the German version though as the camo pattern is close.

Finland seemed to have gotten their Leopard 2A5 from the Netherlands look at the smoke grenade launchers they look just like the ones the Netherlands had on their Leo 2A5

Hi Guys;
FYI; Border is A New Comer to the modeling world, and just have two (2) kits that are about to be released; The Leopard and A WWII German Mk;4 !! And Don't be surprised that they are Allied with Hobby/Boss & Trumpeter.
As for A Finnish leopard, the Tamiya 2A5 would be my choice ! Now the Fin's are most likely going to Modify there leopard to there Standards; So What they will Incorporate into there vehicles, only Time Will Tell

Finns have 2A6 actually...but Tamiya kit would still be a good start. Ordering those ToRo decals for my Polish Cat(s) too.

Hi!
The Finnish army already had standartized their tanks to Finnish standard. The NL smoker dischargers will remain for next time, at least for a couple of years. All are ex Leopard 2A6 NL. Also the Finnish army aquired 12 Leopard 1 ARVs and AEVs from Netherland and it seems that tese also keep the NL smoke dischargers.
