I have always wanted to model Tiger 323 from the Schwere Panzer Abteilung 502,has anyone ever seen a camouflage mask for this vehicle?
Also what kit would be the best as a starter kit?

It had no loader's periscope, but was otherwise a standard May '43 Tiger, one of the first with a HL230, still bearing the smoke launchers and MG cap screws. Had engine hatch "legs", no mudflap "frames", and non-mirrored outlet grilles.

Dragon had that nice "Wittman S04" kit, but it builds a Command Tiger so you would need to tweak it just a litte.

I was thinking of using the Tamiya kit with the Eduard upgrade, but obviously leaving off the feifels and such.I know the Tamiya kit comes with 2 mantlet types as well early and a later version which I think you use the latter?
Cheers

This tank had the later Feifels and the first "flat" mantlet.

David, how about color schemes? I've seen builds with an overall dark gray scheme and ones with dark yellow. Also on turret numbers -- red on white, and black on white. Any idea which is correct? Tat

We're talking about the same 323, aren't we? The one we see with a man standing in the engine compartment? And a serious amount of mud?

I can't explain the turret numbers as anything but solid black.

The tank had no chance of getting the grey paint, it's too late a Tiger. It had to be Dunkelgelb plus something painted in stripes, probably green.

My bad, I had the turret numbers mixed up, as I had 332 in mind.
