Hy guys.

This question is for those for use or used Revell enamel colors. Eventhough Revell has lots of different shades I can't find some important colors for German and Allied armor:

1) Dark Yellow (Dunkelgelb) -- There is a sandy yellow instead (nr.16), but it looks far too yellow and light, not dark enough

2) Africa brown / yellow (for German armor and vehicles in Africa) -- nr.16 and nr.88 don't look quite right, maybe not brown enough

3) Reddishbrown -- they offer me nr.37 which is way too red

4) Sand (for Israelli and other desert armor)

5) Khaki -- I don't even know what that color looks like

6) Olive drab -- there are many greens, but they all got some strange names

So, I would like to know if you managed to obtain the rights color throuh mixing colors together?

And one more thing, Revell's flat black nr.8 seems like it can't be painted with airbrush. The surface gets way too rough to paint any other color over that. Anybody else notices this and is there a solution for problem?

Thanks for your question guys

Check this chart out http://www.ww2modelmaker.com/articlepub/Humbrol.htm i t is a Humbrol Conversion chart but it might just give you the Revell numbers you are looking for. I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Bryan
