Have some questions about the Model 1941. Working on the Dragon kit. Rear turret plate has option for 4 or six bolts and there is an option for a large storage box on the forward left fender and twin PT-4-7 periscopes. Are these indicative of time frame of their build, place of manufacture (KhPZ or STZ ... before they made their changes) or welded/ cast turret. Also,I noticed that some turret hatches have a plate over the hole for the old periscope, others there is no hole. Later manufacture, I presume.

Tim,
When dealing with T-34s, it's all about time and location when addressing little details like that. There were four different factories building T-34s at one point and all had variations to adapt to their specific capabilities. It is best to work from reference photos of a particular vehicle.
There is a T-34 FB group that has some very knowledgeable people but they will probably tell you the same thing.
Cheers,
BK
