Ive tried googling but can only find Hannant’s (which seems liks an amazing place but is pretty much out of the way). Are there any other places or has the internet defeated all the brick and mortar shops?

Sad but true - I live on the outskirts and cannot recall the last time I was able to go into an actual shop here. My buying is mostly vendors at shows now.

If you're into aircraft, Hamleys has a decent stock of airfix kits. Apart from that, I'm afraid there's pretty much noting in central London.

Yep, Hannants (London) is my nearest bricks and mortar store but don’t generally stock much in the way of ships and cars so most of my shopping is online or at shows. There are still a few small shops but none near me.
